Time vanishes

It has bee an eventful summer so far! Our granddaughter graduated from high school, boy does time vanish. It seems like yesterday, she was just a toddler. All grown up and driving. Had her license for a week and had a little accident, minor scrape to her car, she was adjusting her side mirror.

Exciting news, STAMPIN' UP has a new Idea Book and Catalog. Many new changes, new Color Renovation, loads of new stamps and accessories. It seems like every year just gets better and better. To tell you how things have changed, I have a stamp set the Stampin Up made with the foam backing!! How old is that? We now have the Clear mount stamps., as well as the wood mount. I love the fact that there are now Clear Mount stamp sets, I find it is much easier to store these because they are in a DVD size flat case.

Stampin' Up convention is over and for those that attended I hear that it was wonderful. I will be attending Regionals in September and I am sure I will come back inspired. Can't wait! I am in the process of make cards to swap as well as projects for August Stamp Camp on the 14th. Theme this month is birthday's, there will be cards for Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister as well as generic projects.

It is very hot here right now 104 for the high today, so glad we didn't have this high a heat two weeks ago, our AC stopped working. the high inside the house was 89-90 FOR A WHOLE WEEK. Has a Stamp Camp at one of my customers home. Thank you very much Susan, you were a life saver!

Summer Days are here

With the heat of the season upon us, and kids almost out of school, it is also time to spring clean!
I know we all do that, but how about your SCRAPBOOKS? Are you planning on doing some spring cleaning there? Are you clearing out those photos out of those shoe boxes, or adding to them, or just forgetting about them for the summer months. The longer those photos sit in that shoe box, the longer it will take you to put them into your Scrapbook Albums, that could be years. How about making a commitment to scrapping all those summer pictures as you take them? Not hard with Stampin' Up's "My Digital Studio" program!
In the today's world, computers are here to stay and Stampin' Up has taken scrapbooking and card making to a new level. "My Digital Studio" is a Paper Crafting program that does more than just make scrapbooks. Come and check it out. Call ahead and I can make the time to sit with you, one on one, to show you what it can do.

"STAMP CAMP" is just around the corner, June the 12th @ 10 AM. we will be doing 10 projects, the cost is $15 and don't forget to bring your lunch. I will have coffee and a sweet.

LAST CHANCE TO ORDER FROM THE 2009-2010 CATALOG, June is the last month you will able to order from the current catalog. On June the first Stampin; Up will post the retirement list on the Stampin' Up website, so look it over and see what you need before it is gone. Some of the items are "while supplies last".
Stampin' Up is having a "Color Renovation" A lot of the colors that you have loved and saying good by. We will be going for the standard 48 colors, plus naturals, down to 40 standards total colors plus 5 new In Colors. The In Colors will be around for 2 years instead of 1.

I hope to see you all at Stamp Camp on the 12, for maybe a sneak peek and some new things coming our way in Stampin' Up

My new Blog

Summer is almost here, the kids will be out of school, vacation time is here and we always hope for great weather! What do you plan on doing with all those photos you take on vacation? Do you put them in a shoe box? Wouldn't you rather have them in albums all nicely labeled with who, what, where and when, maybe even why?
Photos are just photos, why not put them in albums that tell the story of your Special Memories. Memories are for sharing. When our children are grown, they will not now some of the people on your photos, I know, I have some of those show boxes and yes there are some folks in them that I haven't a clue who they are but I keep them hoping some one in my family will know them. So far that hasn't happened.
Have you ever thought of Stamping in your scrapbooks, or even doing Digital Scrapbooks? Digital Scrapbooking is so easy and there are endless resources to decorate a scrapbook page.
I am Certified to teach Stampin' Up Digital Paper Crafting program "My Digital Studio."
If you would like to learn Stamping, Scrapbooking or Digital Paper Crafting, send me an e-mail. I live North of Dallas and would be more than happy to assist you in your Paper Crafting Projects.
